Jak dopadla literární soutěž All Write?
Od Halloweenu do Mikuláše mohly děti posílat své příspěvky do nové školní literární soutěže v anglickém jazyce nazvané All write. Téma letošních textů bylo „One-syllable words“, dílka se tedy měla skládat pouze z jednoslabičných slov. Rád bych ještě jednou poděkoval všem žákům a žákyním, kteří své texty poslali, a pogratuloval vítězům, kteří si v pátek před Vánocemi přišli do ředitelny pro medaile a anglické knihy. V kategorii prvního stupně obsadili druhé až třetí místo Kevin Spáčil (3.B) a Samira Benkovitz (4.A) a vítězkou se stala Simona Malaková (4.A). V kategorii šestých a sedmých ročníků patří třetí místo Albertu Uilbleinovi (7.A), druhé místo obsadila Markéta Hejralová (7.A) a první cenu získala Denisa Humhálová (6.A). Přidávám dva příběhy, za něž si Simona a Denisa odnesly hlavní ceny.
Simona Malaková, “The cat in the hat”
Once in a house on Tree Street there were two kids and they were quite bored. Their mom and dad were at work and they were done with their things for school. Their names were Tom and Jane. Out on the street they saw THE CAT IN THE HAT and the kids said: "Oh no." The cat went right in the house. The cat saw a chair and said to the kids: "Let’s make that chair fly." "No, don’t do that please," said the kids. "Here we go!" said the cat. "When I say 3 this chair will grow wings. 1, 2, 3." said the cat. The chair grew wings and it flew out of the house.
"Oh no," said the kids, "that was mom’s chair." "What will we do?" said Jane. "We will think of it" said Tom. "I know what to do" said the cat, "we will use my cool car to get the chair home." The car had a dog’s tail, cat’s legs, fox fur, 4 seats, and could drive. "Come on and sit down it’s safe" said the cat. So the kids got in the car and the car drove quite fast.
Then Jane saw the chair. "Catch it car" said the cat and the car’s hand got the chair. "Yeah," said the kids, "now go home." At the house the cat put the chair back, took the wings off it and left. Then their mom and dad came home and mom said: "how was your day?" "It was fine" said the kids.
Once there was a boy, who was so poor he had to work as a cab. But he did not ride a car, so he had to take old men to work on his back.
One day, he found a jar full of small birds by the shore, so he let them out. The birds told him "Thank you so much, we will now help you with your job" and then they flew right to the town. The next day, when the boy woke up, the birds had a gift for him. It was a big box with wheels and seats in it and the birds rode it, so the boy did not have to take old men on his back no more. He is now a rich man who owns many of these and takes all the old men to work.
